The prepreg with short fibres developed by us is a globally unique material, a product. It combines a custom-developed epoxy resin, recycled carbon fibres and an original production method that is unlike conventional prepreg production.

*500g/m2 - prepreg is translucent
*750-850g/m2- this is the maximum weight, when prepreg is no longer so translucent due to the filling of carbon fibres in most places. The grammage then depends on the length of the fibres. Longer fibre length = higher grammage.
The resulting surface is typical of "forged carbon fibre", the so-called forged carbon that is currently a very popular look for various applications.
The product has been developed either for autoclave production, but it can also be used as OOA "Out of Autoclave", which means, outside of the autoclave, just cure in the oven, using an external vacuum and the result will be very solid. So you can use the classic moulds you are used to. Apply an external separator to the mould with respect to processing temperatures and bag it up similar to prepreg. Sometimes you need to play around with the setting of the breathing fabric and cover sheets with respect to the thickness of the final composite to get the best result!
The product is not intended for complete beginners who are not familiar with prepreg technology and want to learn about it.
A bonus for many enthusiasts of these composite materials is its shelf life at room temperature, which is up to 1 year! This means that you don't need to have prepreg in the freezer or fridge. It is sufficient at room temperature. However, avoid storage or transport in direct sunlight and at very elevated temperatures. In the case of high-quality storage, prepreg can work for more than 12 months, but the guarantee of the resulting properties may no longer correspond to expectations.
